Create transcript types
Each transcript in a case is associated with a transcript type.
You allow or deny access to a transcript based on the associated transcript type.
You can also organize transcripts based on transcript types. For example, you can create separate transcript types for depositions and trials.
Administrators and group leaders can create transcript types.
To create transcript types:
On the Case Home page, on the Case Home menu, select Transcripts.
In the navigation pane, click Types.
Click Add.
In the Name box, type a unique name for the transcript type.
Optionally, type a Description for the transcript type.
Click Save.
To enable review groups to access the transcripts that are associated with the transcript type, an administrator must set security for the transcript type. For more information, see Work with security for objects.
